"Alexander is not yet buried" - that's what the directory says. In a war-torn world, his corpse looms over Sascha and's relationship Schufa He is the glue that holds them together and at the same time the source of conflict that reveals their innermost desires and fears. In a maelstrom of intimacy and violence, of closeness and distance, of childlike play and bitter seriousness, the image of a man-made catastrophe threatens to engulf them.
The world in which Sascha and Living the Shura seems far removed from our reality. However, that is Magyar in Kyiv about as far away from us as St. Peter's Basilica in Rome. And the highest percentage of sexual Abuse takes place in the closest social circles and in one's own family.
Whether the past peaceful decades in Western Europe can be an escape from the endless return of war and interpersonal horrors seems more questionable than ever at the moment.
The search for the breaking point in the loop of story remains, driven from one Hope for a new human togetherness - without tricks.
